The OEM press-in seats used in many Cummins heads are known to lose there press fit from high EGT's because the alloy is not rated to handle the heat, which cause's them to fall out. To eliminate that issue, we install new SBI Star Series valve seats designed to retain hardness up to 1600F+ to provide a more secure, long-lasting fit. (Standard on all our 5.9/6.7 heads stock or performance.)
